R2

    R2 is being built (is a robot ever really finished?) by Marcel Felix of the R2_autonomous builders group.  He has converted his bot over to Leaf software to make it autonomous.

    These R2D2 replica builders do a fantastic job of building "real" looking R2D2s.  I suspect they look better than many which actually made it into the films.

    Anyway,  There are a few pictures following and especially a movie of R2 (and Marcel) doing his tricks.  I should have got a few more pictures of R2's innards, but didn't.  Maybe Marcel can take a few and send them over for inclusion?
